The evaluation system in the University is very transparent with a coding system for answer sheets for which OMR sheets are used where the students can only write their roll number and enrolment number. The code of each student is known only to the Controller of Examination and is not revealed even to the evaluator.

The University follows a system of “double evaluation” where each answer sheet is evaluated by two examiners. There are separate examiners for theory and practical examinations.

An overall performance of the student is assessed through internal assessment which includes day to day assessment, monthly assessment, sessional assessment and the University examinations.

Special emphasis is laid on attendance, 75% attendance in theory as well as practicals is mandatory for appearing in the University examination.
