Information for public under Right to Information Act, 2005 in terms of Section 4(1)(b) of the Right to Information Act the general public is hereby informed that the HIHT University is a Deemed University since 2007 declared by the University Grants Commission U/S 3 of UGC Act 1956.

The following courses are being offered by HIHT University:

The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a four and half year programme. Postgraduate courses (MD/MS/Diploma), Paramedical Graduate & Postgraduate degree courses Master of Physiotherapy (MPT), B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (BOT), Bachelor in Audiology Speech Language and Pathology (BASLP), B.Sc. Optometry (B. Opto.), B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLS), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), B.Sc. Radiography and Imaging Technology (BRIT), B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology (BRT)

The University has its own Memorandum of Association, Rules and Regulations. The Board of Management is the Executive Body of the University. The Administrative functions are controlled by the Vice Chancellor, Dean and Registrar.

The University follows UGC and MCI rules apart from its own Rules & Regulations and bye-laws. The information with regards to items 1 to 17 as given under section 4(1)(b)2005 is available with the University.
