World AIDS Day

The HIV/AIDS epidemic shows signs of reversal globally and in Southeast Asia. The theme for World AIDS Day 2012 is ‘Getting to Zero.’After 30 years of the global fight against HIV/AIDS, this year the global community has committed to focusing on achieving 3 targets: “Zero New HIV Infections. Zero Discrimination. Zero AIDS-related Deaths.”

The Dept. of Com. Medicine, organized the World AIDS Day on 1st December, in RHTC Rajeev Nagar, andThano with the key objective of generating awareness about some important facts regarding mode of transmission and prevention of HIV/AIDS.
